On December 7, 2009 police arrived at the Powell family home after neither parent showed up at work and neither child showed up at daycare. Later in the day, Josh Powell arrived back at the house with their sons, Charles and Braden, but their mother, Susan, is nowhere to be found. Josh claims he took the kids camping for the night while Susan stayed home and slept, and claims he has no knowledge of where she is.
After years of being investigated and questioned, Josh would take not only his own life, but the innocent lives of his two sons as well. Did the guilt of what he possibly did to Susan drive him to this tragedy? Did he know more about Susan’s disappearance than he was telling police?
